Huichun Yang (she/her) is a Taiwanese sound artist and creative technologist based in Providence, RI. She is currently a second-year graduate student in Digital Media at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Her work explores the intersection of technology and auditory experience, focusing on sound programming, modular synthesis, and spatial audio.

Huichun is particularly interested in using body movement, computer programs, and physical computing with simple and minimal materials to explore sonic worlds in performance. Additionally, she explores the concept of the body as an instrument, blending physicality and sound in her practice. Her art delves into themes such as drone, noise, chaos, disorientation, and entanglement, creating immersive, multi-sensory experiences.
