I am without accent when speaking through the mouth harp. Mouth harp conceals my identity. It produces an untranslatable language. It speaks anonymously. It hums, rings, and hisses. It remains secret and conjures the soul.
Playing mouth harp in nature always makes me feel grounded and loved. The subtle movement between nose and upper lip connect all together. The sound vibrates through bodies, the air and the ground.

Algotrek 5 @ lantern hill, march 29 2025. Algotrek is a marriage of sound, technology and nature. In the form of a short, low intensity hike, artists and attendees will gather to perform sound rituals in the mountains. Through performance and our connection to the ground beneath our feet we will celebrate and acknowledge the land and its indigenous roots.
